Meet Jan
Jan has always had a mind for technology and a passion for design. As a retired Army veteran with 11 years of service, he’s no stranger to solving tough problems under pressure. By day, Jan juggles two worlds, managing complex IT systems while crafting standout marketing and product designs in his 9 to 5.
He’s driven by relentless curiosity, constantly diving deeper into Docker, networking, and cloud infrastructure. That hands on experience shapes everything we do at J&J Design. Whether he’s building cloud environments, optimizing digital performance, or designing from scratch, Jan’s blend of technical depth and creative thinking ensures your website works as flawlessly as it looks.

Jamie holds an honours degree in accounting, but her passion has always been rooted in design, storytelling, and building a strong visual identity. From a young age she was hands on with creative work including sketching, editing, writing, and creating personalized photo books that brought moments and ideas to life.
Over the years, she has developed a sharp eye for branding and a practical understanding of marketing strategy, pairing creative instincts with an analytical mindset. The result is design that feels intentional, cohesive, and aligned with the message a business is trying to communicate, not just something that looks nice on a screen.
Jamie also leads social media handling for clients, planning content, shaping on brand visuals, and writing captions that sound human and consistent with each business’s voice. She focuses on clarity, consistency, and content that builds trust over time so clients stay visible and recognizable without having to constantly think about what to post.
At J&J Design, Jamie leads creative direction and visual storytelling while also managing the company’s finances. She brings structure behind the scenes and cohesion out front, keeping both the brand and the business running cleanly.
